Terms of Use
Last updated:
By using Hackathon Ideas (hackathonideas.com) you agree to these simple terms.
Using the ideas
The ideas are free. You may use any idea to build a hackathon project, a side project, a startup or a class assignment. You don't need to ask or credit us, although a link back is always appreciated. What you build is yours.
Ideas are general concepts and not exclusive. Other people may build the same idea, and you are responsible for checking your event's rules (for example originality or "start from scratch" rules).
The website and its content
The site's design, code, text and images are owned by Hackathon Ideas. Please don't copy the site or republish the idea collection in bulk (for example scraping it into another site or app) without permission. Quoting or sharing single ideas with a link is fine.
Estimates, not promises
Build times, team sizes, difficulty levels and judging-fit scores are our editorial estimates to help you compare ideas. They are not an official rubric, a guarantee of winning, or measured data. Tools and libraries change, so check their current documentation and licences before you rely on them.
Third-party links
We link to GitHub repositories, hackathon platforms and other websites. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or licences.
Ads and affiliate links
The site may show ads (for example Google AdSense) and include affiliate links in the future. If you buy through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links will be disclosed, and they never change which ideas we recommend.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or the ideas on it.
Privacy
See the Privacy Policy for what data is stored and why.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: support@hackathonideas.com.
